Well, that’s hardly true. Ted is still as good a sleeper as he was when he first started sleeping through the night. Sure, on occasion he does wake up in the wee hours of the morning to remind us that he’s still there, lest we forget about the sleeping baby in the next room. But all in all we do still get a good deal of sleep.
He’s a lot more mobile now than he was a few months ago. Not really crawling in the traditional sense, but he can move himself around by rolling, scooting, and doing this cute little bunny-hop sort of thing. I know it’s just a matter of time before we’re chasing him around the condo saying, “oh crap, we need to baby-proof that.”
And speaking of the condo, we’ve been very busy making it ready to put on the real estate market and simultaneously looking for a new home for ourselves. The condo seemed more than adequate when I was a single guy, but as my family has grown over the years, the available space around here has shrunk. So, if anyone is looking for a 1,200-sqft, 2-bedroom townhouse, centrally-located in Connecticut, with lots of great updates done over the past seven years (if I do say so myself), then by all means let me know.
Work has been keeping the whole family busy lately too, but it’s not so bad. With Ted’s mom and dad working for the same company, it means I get some Ted visits at the office when mom has to come in for a couple of hours. I received such a visit today and while Ted tried to help dad with some work, all he really succeeded in doing was depositing a few puddles of drool on my desk. I don’t blame him though; Cisco Voice over IP leaves me scratching my head with my mouth agape sometimes too.
