First, let me apologize, the photo doesn’t really match the post, but he just looked so darn cute getting his bath this evening 🙂

So earlier today, Ted was playing with his bink (binky, paci, what-have-you), and I was reminded of his 2-week old pediatrician appointment. It was fairly early in the day, and we were in the waiting room with just one other family there with their 9 month old daughter. We were exchanging casual chit chat, all about baby things of course, and when we got to the topic of pacifiers the mother said something to the effect of, “it’s so great once they start being able to pick it up and put it back in their own mouth!” And I distinctively remember thinking it seemed like that would never happen, not my Ted. Not in a bad way, but in an I-want-my-baby-to-stay-a-baby-forever way. Hmmm, that doesn’t sound much better actually. He was only 2 weeks old, we can just chalk that all up to my hormones being out of whack.
Well, as I was watching him pick up his bink and stick it back in his own mouth, a maneuver that he has been working on for the past few of weeks, I was thinking to myself, “well yeah, this is pretty cool!”
